Our story
A small seed, faithfully tended.
Zera Gardens was started by a family of believers in Austin who saw two things at once: neighbors who longed for fresh food, beauty, and rest in their own backyards, and a growing community of homeowners who simply didn't know where to begin. We exist to bridge that gap, one garden at a time.
Why "Zera"?
Zera (זֶרַע) is the Hebrew word for seed. Throughout Scripture, the seed is a picture of faith, of promise, and of God's quiet, steady work in the world. It is the smallest thing, and it becomes the largest. We named our company after it because that's the posture we want to bring to every yard: small, careful, faithful work that grows into something beautiful.
We're a Christian company, and we aim to honor Jesus in everything we do, in the quality of our work, in how we treat your home, and in the way we love the people we serve.
