How long does the install take?

Most projects are built in one to three days on site. From signed quote to your first planting day, plan on three to five weeks while we source cedar, soil, and your plant list.

What if a plant dies?

Any perennial, fruit tree, or shrub we plant is guaranteed for 60 days. If it fails from anything other than neglect, we replace it free. Annual vegetables are not guaranteed (the weather wins sometimes) but we'll always coach you on what went wrong.

Do you handle permits, HOA, or city approvals?

Most backyard raised-bed installs in Austin do not need a permit. For HOAs we provide a one-page plan you can submit. For anything requiring city approval (greywater, large hardscape) we coordinate directly.

Yes. Our Tend membership covers seasonal swaps, pruning, soil amendments, pest checks, and irrigation tune-ups. Most clients pair it with a quick monthly visit.

I rent. Can I still get a garden?

Absolutely. We build freestanding raised beds and container systems that move with you. Just check your lease about ground disturbance first.

Do you use organic methods?

Always. We follow Back-to-Eden principles: deep wood-chip mulch, compost-rich soil, no synthetic fertilizers, no harsh pesticides. The goal is soil so alive your kids can eat straight from the bed.

In Austin, fall (September to November) and late winter (January to February) are the two best install windows. Summer installs work too, we just plan around the heat with shade cloth and heavier mulch.
